BIPI’s leadership (Managers, Superintendents, Supervisors and Foremen) are responsible in maintaining the highest HSSE standards at all times and are expected to demonstrate effective HSSE leadership in leading by example, continuously improve HSSE performance and promote a positive HSSE culture.

  • Instill the utmost importance of health and safety of all employees and port users, and stakeholders by implementing and maintaining systems that helps eliminate or mitigate risks in all operational activities.
  • Provide security and safety program initiatives to employees and port users like HSSE orientation, trainings, etc. that will enhance awareness and efficiently manage hazards and risks associated with any operations activity.
  • Develop and maintain a hierarchy control to identify and assess potential hazards and environmental impacts associated with our operations, and to establish mitigation controls to minimize risk as reasonably possible.
  • Conduct periodic drills and exercises to identify potentials risks in any incident or calamity that may arise and set effective response to mitigate loss of lives or injury, and preserve company assets and systems.
  • Continually improve HSE management system through platforms that will help encourage and motivate employees to participate in safety, security and health program activities by setting goals and develop incentive programs.
  • Continually improve business processes to mitigate negative impact on environment thru conservation of energy, water and other natural resources; and reduction of generated waste.
  • Ensure full compliance to all relevant regulatory and statutory requirements
