K-Line recognized Bauan International Port, Inc. (BIPI) with its 2025 Zero Damage Achievement Award during the K-Line Asia Damage Prevention Meeting held November 13 to 14 in Bangkok, Thailand.

The event gathered ro-ro stevedores from Singapore, Thailand, Malaysia, Indonesia, Vietnam, Taiwan, and Japan to exchange practices that support safer vessel and cargo handling. Now on its tenth year, the meeting forms part of K-Line’s effort to improve damage prevention across its network.

Shin Miyawaki, K-Line Thailand Car Carrier general manager, opened the sessions, which covered battery electric vehicles and high-and-heavy cargo operations.

Participants also observed a demonstration of the new six-wheel dolly towing system, while Toyota Motor Asia shared updated vessel operation guidelines.

The meeting reinforced K-Line’s focus on safety and its drive toward consistent, damage-free operations.
